Friday night, July 13th Symposium featured nationally known Civil Rights Activist and Preacher, Reverend James Morrison Lawson, Jr.  Reverend Lawson was both elegant and informative.  He addressed the issue of civil rights and social justice in America during the 1960’s as well as today.  It was indeed empowering, and will add to the rich history  of civil rights and social justice at Rust College as well as the City of Holly Springs, and state of Mississippi.  His address was followed by Q&A.
